Turkish, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Convene
(MENAFN) On Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held discussions with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry shared via the Turkish social media outlet NSosyal.
The meeting between Fidan and Bayramov occurred on the sidelines of the Council of Foreign Ministers gathering under the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which is taking place in Gabala, a region in northern Azerbaijan.
This dialogue comes just before the official commencement of the 12th summit of the OTS, as noted by the ministry.
At this time, no additional specifics have been disclosed regarding the content or outcome of the conversation between the two officials.
The ongoing summit hosted by the OTS is scheduled to continue through Tuesday.
